I can't remember how long I've been here....

(editor's note: it's been 5 weeks)

Wow! What a week! There were so many ups and downs I don;t even know where to begin! On fast Sunday we had mission conference and it was hilarious.  The second guy that stood up being completely serious he literally was like "I don't want to be here but since I was called I have to be." Haha, so that set the tone for the conference! A couple of the Elders fell asleep on each other it was adorable haha! Sunday night was bittersweet because I had to say goodbye to both my Oakcrest friends who were here and my heart hurt so bad. I am going to miss them so much! But they are going to be FANTASTIC missionaries!

Monday was awesome!! We got to host the senior missionaries that came in and it was so fun! We escorted them to their rooms and helped them with their bags and they were so cool! It was just such a fun time to hang with them and my district. Next up Tuesday. I'm going to be honest Tuesday was awful. I got a message from my mom in the afternoon that they were going to put our family dog Mikey down. It shattered my heart! Sister Lorentzen and Hermana Parret sat with me while everyone was in choir and let my cry. I was horrified that I was still crying when the devotional was starting and the rest of my district showed up but Elder Stoker and Sister Lorentzen sat by me and made me feel so much better! I was able to stop crying! Yay! They are the best! Next up Wednesday! It was a good day. We had a TRC and it was way fun! We chatted with one of the guys that we were teaching and told him about how one time during a lesson we accidentally told our teacher God threw us away like garbage haha. Then he told us once he was teaching the first vision and instead of saying this is my beloved son he said this is my beloved carrot. It was so funny haha.  Finnish is so hard. Well everyday here is an adventure! Even tho we do the same thing everyday haha I love it so much! Well I guess I'll dab out. I love you all!
